This book could very well save your life someday.
I feel there is a real need for everyone to have a book like this because of my own experiences:
A few years ago my mother-in-law who was in her 80’s became ill, and I had to call an ambulance. All the time they were treating her, I was being asked all sorts of questions, like her date of birth or SS#. She was very scared and I felt that the time I used to tell them what they need, I could have been holding her hand and comforting her.
So after that experience, I wrote down all the needed information about her, and the next time something happened, I just handed the booklet to the ambulance driver and went straight to comforting her.
A few years later, while a girlfriend was visiting she became ill. I was asked to take her to the hospital, but before we went, she went into the room where she was staying and grabbed all her medicine bottles and threw them into a basket to take along.
Not only does the hospital want to know what medicines you are taking but also the dosage. How many people really know that?
I have taken chemo, and if something had happened to me to become unconscious, my husband surely would not have known all the drugs I had been given, let alone know the dosages. Having these important facts handy in case of an emergency will save time and possibly your life.
Everyone needs to be prepared. Please take the time NOW to start writing these things down and keep it up to date.
Emergencies happen, everyone needs The 1st Step.
