To get the Bible unto papyrus or parchment, God had to make use of some Hebrew scribes: as they were the only ones who could write in the Hebrew language. Fortunately, the Hebrews have always managed to produce some talented scribes, from the Prophets to Joseph Heller, who could be relied upon to fill in the details of a story, with remarkable imagination and skill with the quill. We need look no further than the greatest fish-story of all time, of Jonah and the Whale.
However, this age of science and technology has brought forth a proliferation of skeptics, who question everything questionable and unquestionable. It is not remarkable that I should be the one destined to find the evidence, to allay all doubts about the veracity of this story: for I am an archeologist and unearthing evidence of past events is my business.
